Job Description About this opportunity We are seeking a civil Senior Design Lead and Designer to join the team in our stunning waterfront office location in the heart of Geelong. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of civil design within our projects and exposed to a wide range of integrated projects and enjoy true diversity in your work. This role will see you: At Senior Level: Driving project performance and service delivery through positive technical outcomes for the client Proactively identify and resolve technical design issues with the client and wider design team and manage design interface Lead the compilation of tender documents, client reporting, and contract negotiations Collaborate with interstate teams and engineering professionals across the business. At Designer Level: Preparing design concepts, CAD models and detailed design for civil engineering requirements such as drainage, sewerage, road and associated infrastructure Read and interpret civil drawings and apply design principles to translate concepts and information into drawings, using feedback to modify designs Driving project performance and service delivery through positive technical outcomes for the client Supporting and mentoring junior design team members by sharing your knowledge and experience to help support their professional development, as well as your own Champion the use of 12D and other design/modelling tools to streamline design processes and create enhanced outputs Proactively identify and resolve technical design issues with the wider design team About You Ideally you have previously worked on complex masterplanned communities and subdivision projects and land development and your skills managing design challenges are second to none.
